Constitution for OpenVAS project
This is the current (June 2007) constitution for OpenVAS . It was originally accepted by SPI on the 15th November 2005. We were briefly delisted by SPI during a period of hosting difficulties but were reaccepted after successful discussions at DebConf 7.

Requirements from SPI
- DNS hosting for openvas.org, openvas.net and openvas.com
- Registered contact for OpenVAS OID
- Potentially acceptance of donations, holder of OpenVAS trademark, but not at the current time
Change control
- Any 2 of 3 project contacts must agree
- Agreement will take the form of emails signed with individuals PGP key to SPI appointed contacts
- Decisions to be taken by consultation on openvas-discuss on consensus based decisions
