Binary packages for the major Linux distributions and some other platforms are available for download from the OpenVAS website or from services provided by third parties.
If OpenVAS-Client is not yet packaged for the distribution of your choice, installation from source (see section *) is usually possible on most Unix-based platforms. You might also want to let the maintainers of this distribution know that you would like to see OpenVAS packaged for their distribution and that they can turn to the OpenVAS development team should they need more information.
